00 Droid!
Just in case any of you out there have been asleep and don’t yet know, Skyfall, the latest in a long line of James Bond movies has hit movie theatres everywhere (UK October 26, US November 9). Featuring Daniel Craig as 007 the movie also stars the Sony Xperia T.
While the Xperia T may not be top dog in the android world right now, it does have some pretty nice things going for it including an HD 4.6 inch screen, a Snapdragon S4 1.5ghz dual-core processor and a 13mp camera. It will ship with Ice Cream Sandwich installed and a Jelly Bean update to follow shortly.
Sony must be hoping that they can sell more of these handsets by featuring them in the movie. The UK carrier O2 will be carrying the limited Skyfall edition phone and possibly AT&T in the USA.
You won’t get all of the gadgetry that 007 uses installed on it though but you will get 007 ringtones, themes and screensavers along with images from Skyfall which will be geo-tagged with locations.
Sound good?
