500 Million Android devices activated, World Domination commences…

At the Motorola and Verizon event last week, Eric Schmidt announced that there are 1.3 million activation’s daily and 488 million active devices. Today, Hugo Barra, Google’s director of Product Management for Android, announced on Google+ that Android has been activated 500 million times.

So we think a congrats is in order for all of us, Android users, as well as the entire team at Google developing and working on Android for the millions of us to enjoy everyday.
