A moment of silence for our fallen family members

I’m not really sure how to go about this post. As many of you know, I generally focus on technology-related articles, and I have very little experience when it comes to sharing news like this, but this is something that needs to be done.

Last night, we received the unfortunate news about the untimely passing of our dear friend, Rob P. Details are scarce at the moment, but what we’ve been told is that Rob was found at home by his family. Out of respect for him and his family, we’ve decided to take today off as a moment of silence, and to remember the great conversations we had with this amazing member of the community.

I’d like to try and set up a memorial in his name, so if there’s anyone who’s interested in helping out with this, please feel free to contact me.

Unfortunately, Rob isn’t the only family member we’ve lost recently. Last month, another good friend lost her battle to cancer. Kendra Potts was one of the finest people I’ve come to know online, and her loss still saddens me to this day.

Life is too short folks. Take a step back from everything today and enjoy the fresh air. Be thankful you’re still alive and be thankful for the people in your life that you love. You never know when your time will come.

That being said, rest in peace Rob and Kendra, as well as all the other family members and soldiers we’ve lost along the way. You may be gone from our physical world, but you’ll never be gone from our hearts and out thoughts.
