Is Amazon Going to Announce Their Tablet(s) on 9/28? Invitations to Press Event Indicate This to be True

There aren’t a whole lot of details just yet, but Amazon is apparently sending out invitations to a press conference in the Big Apple on September 28. This event is rumored to be the company’s official announcement of at least one of their highly anticipated tablets, which are expected to begin hitting customers hands in October or November.

It’s been a little bit since we first heard about Amazon’s plans to get into the tablet game back in May, but it appears as though they are about to unveil their project to the world next Wednesday. What we DO know is that tablet is aimed at the low-end of the market and could come in at the very affordable price of $249
