Amazon Kindle Fire gets kid-friendly with updated firmware version 6.3.1

If you own an Amazon Kindle Fire and are still rocking the stock OS, a new firmware version is headed your way and it brings   enhanced parental controls along with it. Granted, this is definitely not a monumental update, it’s still one you will want to install, especially if you have younger kids who may not be ready for all the dirt and grime the Internet has to offer.  The new update allows parents to protect their wallets from “accidental” Google Play shopping sprees by requiring a pin for any purchases, the Silk browser can be disabled to keep your kids away from questionable websites, and you can also block specific content — hooray for being able to lock down all of my nudie mags!

Be sure to drop us a line and let us know if you’ve already received the new update!
