Another Android PC, more Powerful than a Raspberry Pi [Video]

Hardkernel’s ODROID-X is an up coming mini-PC with some serious functionality packed inside. It comes with Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich OS, which can easily be swapped out for for an Ubuntu 12.04, or some other Linux distro. It boasts the same processor as the Samsung Galaxy S III, a  quad-core 1.4GHz Samsung Exynos 4412, 1GB RAM, micro HDMI port, SD card slot, 6 USB ports, a LAN port, a UART console port and a micro USB port.

Shipments will begin at the end of July and the ODROID-X will go for $129, which is a steeper price than the APC – another Android PC I told you folks about while back (or even the Raspberry Pi), but with the capabilities available the ODROID-X should be well worth it.

You can get more details about ODROID-X here, but first check out these awesome vids!

Involved with Android since the Cupcake days, Taji (B.K.A. Screw Muggz in G+ circles) is a developer and Android obsessed fanatic. If not somewhere deep in code or flashing a new ROM, he likes to shame owners of lesser devices for their poor choice of purchase. Highly elusive, but you can catch him on Google+ or track his latest known movements on Twitter.
