Another RAZR is coming… the DROID RAZR M

So Motorola is really going to milk the hell out the RAZR name, how many do we have already 3? 4? Anyways an anonymous tipster over at Engadget leaked a new RAZR coming out, with model number XT907, the DROID RAZR M. Basically it’s going to be the Atrix HD for Verizon, they even look the same.
This new RAZR is being introduced as a mid-range device, but it actually has some decent specs. Here’s a list that is pictured alongside the device:
- 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540) Super AMOLED Advanced display (Likely with Colorboost, like in the Atrix HD)
- 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor
- 1GB RAM
- 8MP rear camera
- 3MP front camera
- 4G LTE
- On-screen navigation keys
- NFC
- Gorilla Glass 2
- GSM / UMTS / HSPA+ global roaming
- Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.x)
So as you can tell it’s nowhere near the worst of devices, but it is still going to be one of Verizon’s mid-range choices. We also know that the device will sell for $149 on contract. Hopefully Motorola will announce this phone and the DROID RAZR HD at their event with Verizon on September 5th, and then we might have a release date.
How do you feel about this RAZR guys? An eye-roller or something for those who don’t want to pay $300 for a phone. Also, how do you like that edge-to-edge screen, looks pretty nice to me. We should get one of these in for review…
