AOKP Backup: For all you Rooted Android Device Enthusiasts

If you are running AOKP and are anything like me, then you definitely love to customize you phone and always have to have the newest build. My favorite feature of AOKP is ROM Control. You just set up your phone with all the settings and customizations the exact way you like it.

Then, a new build is released, and course you feel the need to flash the newest and greatest release, but what about all of the carefully chosen customizations and settings stored in Rom Control?

Fret no more. Roman Birg founder of AOKP, has built a nice little app, called “AOKP Backup”. It is available in the Play Store for 2 bucks, and you have to be on at least Milestone 5 in order for it to work.

The app itself is very simple, as in your only options are to back up your ROM Control settings or restore a backup of settings you have already saved. I am using this app myself, which makes flashing a new build and setting your phone back up even faster. You must be rooted of course, but if you weren’t, you wouldn’t be running AOKP. If you are running AOKP this app is a must have!
