Apple getting a taste of their own medicine: Samsung and HTC attempting to ban iPhone 5 in the US and Europe for LTE
Well we knew that after the way that big Apple v Samsung lawsuit ended a few weeks ago that Samsung was going for revenge soon. Samsung even came out and said that if the next iPhone has LTE, they would be suing Apple. Well today Apple announced it’s iPhone 5 with LTE. Samsung is not alone, HTC has joined them in the litigation.
The new iPhone 5 is using LTE which will give those sheep the blazing speeds that all us Android users are used to. But a number of the patents involved in LTE are owned by Samsung and HTC. Here’s what an insider had to say:
“Samsung Electronics has decided to take immediate legal action against the Cupertino-based Apple. Countries in Europe and even the United States ― Apple’s home-turf ― are our primary targets.”
So far no legal action has been started. But we should hear more in the next few days. So what do you guys think? Is revenge on it’s way for Samsung?
