Stock Alert – Real Time Update on Your Stock Portfolio Wherever you are!

With the stock market being uncertain as it is in the past month, it can be more of an obsession (if you’re like me) in finding out how your portfolio is doing at any given time. Fortunately there’s an app that can satisfy your constant need of checking out how badly you’re losing money on any particular stock or finding out that particular miraculous stock that’s going up in price against the trend. I hereby present to you Stock Alert.

Stock Alert is presented in a very visual and graphical way which suits me best on the go. When I’m not in front of my computer, I wouldn’t want to read long reviews and analysis of many different stocks that I have in my portfolio, instead I would be more interested to find out at a glance how much they’ve gone down (or up, if unlike me you’re optimistic) since the last time I checked.

Furthermore, the ability to add / remove stocks to keep watch for are extremely useful. It is the deal maker for me as I will not need to search for my stock one by one to see how they’re faring all the time.

The next best feature in this app is the capability to set price limits on your stocks or the stocks you’re watching, so if you want to be alerted when your stocks reach a certain price, you just need to specifically set it in the app, and you will not miss the moment you want to buy or sell the stocks at your specified price anymore.

For those of you who are investing in currencies, Stock Alert provides you with real-time currencies exchange as well, you just need to go to the currencies exchange tab, and input the 2 sets of currencies that you want to compare, and you’ll find out the real-time exchange rate on your chosen currencies.

Stock Alert syncs its data and prices from Yahoo! Finance in realtime whenever the app is running, and there’s a Tablet version for your honeycomb tablets as well if you don’t fancy monitoring your portfolio from your smaller screen devices.
