Better late than never: ICS FINALLY rolling out for the HTC Rezound

I’m sure their are quite a few HTC Rezound owners in the community that are flat out disgusted by this point, as HTC and Verizon have continually given them the runaround regarding the “will it ever land” update of the century.
I’ve spoken with several outraged customers, who are more than just a little bit unsettled by the fact that Ice Cream Sandwich still hadn’t been released for the phone.
Today, our good friends from Android Community have spotted a bit of news that should, at very least, make the Rezound community utter an, “It’s about friggin’ time”.
That’s right, folks. ICS (Android 4.1) is FINALLY available for the Rezound. (How many of you out there are already sweating Jelly Bean?)
The update for the Rezound to Android 4.0 ICS and Sense UI 3.6 is available right this minute, and appears to be about 299MB in size. It might take a minute or two to download, but you should be on your way to the frozen treat in no time.
Hit up those device settings, grab that update and get it installed ASAP. Be sure to stop back and let us know how you’re liking it, or just to vent some anger about how long it actually took you to get it.
