Last week we told you about an amazing new book, called “Game Development Essentials: Mobile Game Development,” by Kimberly Unger and Jeannie Novak. MGD (the book, not the beer) is one of the most comprehensive books of its kind. This paperback packs 275 pages of mobile game development information, including an in-depth history of the industry, and just about everything else you could want to know about making mobile video games.

As I said in my original post, Mr. Luis Levy was kind enough to shoot me a copy to award to one of our readers. In an effort to promote awareness of our social networking presence, this contest is exclusive to our followers on Twitter. To enter, tweet this post on Twitter and fill out this quick form so we can get in contact with you if you win. If you’re not already following @OMGDroid, now is your chance to do so.

This contest will run for two weeks from today (11/11/11). On Friday, November 25th, a winner will be selected at random and we’ll get the book on its merry way to the lucky guy or gal.

If you’ve kept up with the site, which I’m sure you have, you know this makes 3 giveaways you can enter for now. We’ve got the Calaveroid Android figurine up for grabs, as well as four more copies of Car Hound, so make sure to enter for those if you haven’t already. Thanks again to all of our readers. Without you, none of this would be possible. Stay tuned, we’ve got more awesomeness planned for you in the near future!
