Chameleon: Beta release plan

Alright folks, looks like our wait is almost over for the long anticipated Chameleon launcher. Teknision has advised via their latest update, that those backers who pledged $5.00 or more will be invited to a beta release. The list of beta users is approximately 7,000, so they intend to stagger the release in an effort to minimize the risk to their servers and ensure the beta experience is a smooth one. Teknision has kicked off the release by sending invitations out to a small group of users to test their delivery system. Assuming all goes well, they will expand the invite to a larger group thereafter.

In my opinion, the team over at Teknision had done a great job keeping their backers informed of their development progress throughout this process. Therefore, I expect more of the same with this beta release.

The beta app is available here for download, but it checks to ensure your email address was registered with Teknision in order to use it. Sorry non-backers, however a paid version is expected to be available in September.

This OMG!Droid member is very excited about this apps potential. I haven’t received the invite yet, but I am eagerly awaiting it’s arrival. How about you, any invite yet? If so, what are the early impressions?
