Today was Christmas for Android enthusiasts and Google fanboys alike. In all the madness that is I/O, there was a ton of news for us to keep up on. One of the day’s highlights was the announcement that Chrome for Android will no longer sport the beta tag it previously held for the past few months since the app was released for Android devices.

There were no changes made to the app itself, but it’s finally official, so that’s awesome news. Additionally, the Nexus 7 (also announced today) will come with Chrome as its stock browser. This will be the first device to feature Chrome as its native option for surfing the web, so we have to wonder if this will become a standard for all devices moving forward.

So, there you have it. It’s officially official. Go grab it with the link below.
