Confirmed: Black Samsung Galaxy S III available next month in the UK

Last week, we brought you a tidbit from the rumor mill that indicated a black variant of the Samsung Galaxy S III might soon be available. Today, we’re back to squash any lingering doubt there might have been, as the latest buzz on the Interwebz does, in fact, confirm El negro Samsung Galaxy S III.

Apparently, UK reseller MobileFun has the international version available for pre-order already. Keep in mind, we’re talking about the 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor with 1GB of RAM here — this does not apply to any of the US variants with the Snapdragon S4 chipset and 2GB of RAM, like the one I’m currently rocking.

If you had your eyes set on getting one of these bad boys (and you live in the UK, of course), you can go ahead and pre-order now, but you’ll have to wait 4-6 weeks until they are available.

Samsung is expected to make a formal announcement on possible color options later this month at IFA 2012 in Berlin, Germany, but we’re going to have to wait and see how that story unfolds.
