CyanogenMOD 9 makes its way to the international HTC One X

As is the case with most popular phones when they are first released, the HTC One X is no exception. Devs around the world have been hacking away at the stunning new device and the TripNDroid Mobile Engineering developer team has already managed to get CyanogenMOD 9 up and running on the international quad-core variant of the device. Unfortunately, us in here in the States are gonna have to wait just a bit longer, as this does not apply to us.

If you’re lucky enough to have your dirty mitts on one of these quad-core monsters, you’ll want to start out by heading over to the Modaco Forums for all the juicy downloads and discussion you’ll need to get Sense 4.0 removed from your phone and begin your beautiful AOSP Ice Cream Sandwich journey.

Unfortunately, there are a few things not working yet on this ROM, like both cameras and the WiFi hotspot; otherwise, it looks like this project is coming along very nicely. We’ll definitely be keeping tabs.

I’d like to see how well sense 4 functions before doing anything. Sense 4 has been reported to be lighter then the past, but that wont stop sense haters to hate it before even tring it out.
