Domino’s Pizza app Finally comes to the Amazon AppStore, Already in the Google Play Store

Having grown up in the 80′s pizza is by far, without a doubt, one of my favorite foods of all time. Over the last few years, it’s been easier to order your pizza online than to call in and order it. In fact, do stores still accept calls ? LOL It’s been so long since I’ve even tried. Well, today it gets even easier. At least if you’re ordering from Domino’s Pizza. That’s right, there’s an app for that!! And it’s available in the Amazon App Store as of today, and has been available since around mid April in the Google Play Store. So for all of you who use the Amazon AppStore on something like the Kindle Fire, this is definitely some great news for you folks!

Domino’s Pizza has announced they have an app for placing your order via your Android device and it’s now available in the Amazon AppStore. I mean, really ? This may not be a good thing, for me at least. I really like pizza, and I like it a LOT. And now you’re telling me I not only don’t have to make a phone call, but I don’t even need to be around a computer to place my order. I can simply pick up my phone, select the app and have food within an hour or so ? Now this is exactly why I love technology!

What I like about the app is that it’s pretty much just like the web site version. Everything seems to be available via the app version and even after you have placed your order you can track it from the time the order is made up until the delivery person arrives at your front door with the steaming hot goodies.

As you can see by the screenshots above, the app is quite nicely made. It’s very simple to use and doesn’t appear to be sluggish or anything like that. While I’ve not placed an actual order from this app quite yet, you can bet I’ll be doing so very soon. If you’ve used the app to place an order, how do you feel Domino’s Pizza did with the app ?
