Download: CyanogenMOD 9 Apollo Music App for any Ice Cream Sandwich device

Hey all you CyanogenMOD 9 fans and Ice Cream Sandwich aficionados, I found a little something something you’ve all been waiting to get your hands on. It looks like the new music application – Apollo, by +Andrew Neal - has finally made its way to the Internet in the form of an APK file that can be installed on any device, as long as said device is rocking ICS (Android 4.0). You don’t need root, but you will need to be able to sideload apps to get this one installed.

Mr. Neal did a wonderful job with this music player. I’m really digging the holo theme and I’m anxious to play around with the app a bit to see how well it functions. I just stumbled upon this little gem and figured I’d better waste no time in sharing the love, but I’ll be doing a video review of the app over the weekend, so stay tuned to check that out. One thing I can tell you, don’t expect any Google Music support here, as no API’s have been released for the service yet, so we’ll have to cross our fingers and hold our breath on that one.

You can install Apollo by clicking this link, provided by our good friends over at Redmond Pie. Awesome find, guys!

Be sure to let us know what you think and add Andrew to your Circles on Google+, so you can thank him in person for all of his hard work.
