Draw Something Appears To Be Coming To A TV As A Show Soon

Yada yada yada, I know, not this silly ass app being mentioned again. But wait….it’s going to be talked about and as many of you know, since I’m writing about it, it won’t be very good. It might be entertaining, but you can bet your bottom dollar I’ve got nothing good to say. This is not about another update or unfortunately it’s not about the app going away completely and being blacklisted by the world. Yeah, it’s even worse than that folks. Thanks to Ryan Seacrest, whom I used to have HUGE respect for, this game is coming to TV. Umm, yeah, you heard me damn it!! I screamed at the top of my lungs when I read the news earlier just before heading to work.

It seems that the show will be brought to us by Ryan Seacrest Productions. On board to executive produce the pilot are Ryan, RSP CEO Adam Sher, and Michael Davies (“Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”). The show appears to be coming to CBS Television as it seems they won a pretty heavy bidding war to get this show. Not sure what CBS Television was thinking, but hey, they’ve lost my respect as well.

As we can all guess and certainly imagine, this show will be similar to Pictionary which is a famous board type game, and has been made into a TV show several times over the years. Draw Something(assuming that’ll be the name of it) will have both normal every day people as well as celebrities playing the game for various amounts of cash and prizes. It also appears that the people watching the show at home or wherever will be able to play from home/online for a chance to win prizes as well.

I’m wondering if Zynga thinks this will help bring users back to the app game itself, or was this something they had planned all along, even prior to wasting their money purchasing OMGPOP in the first place ? I can certainly tell you this. If I ever come home to my house and this game is on my TV, I will NOT, and I repeat, will NOT own a TV after that moment. I’ll sell them, give them away or break them. I don’t like the app and I’m sure as hell not going to want to this shit on my TV. I’m just saying!

So my question to all of you is this, who still plays this piece of crap game and who will tune into this game once it hits your TV screens ? Will you play from home and try to win prizes ? In fact, thinking about it, I think I’ll play from home and try to win some prizes. Just to tell them folks at CBS when I win that I don’t want a damn thing from their POS game/company. LOL Again, I’m just saying.

Let us know in the comments below what you think about this game coming to TV and do you think it will be successful and will it be so for a long time to run or will it one of those few weeks of glory and then pack it back on the shelf and go elsewhere type of shows ?
