Droid 3 Gets Non-Creamy Update (5.7.906)

Over the weekend Verizon and Motorola have been rolling out an impressive update for their failure of an  favorite qwerty device, the Droid 3. The update weighs in at a massive 224mb file size, which would give a lot of people thoughts that since the update is so massive it must be a version update. Nope! Remember that the D3 wasn’t on either Verizon’s or Motorola’s update to ICS leaked lists, so none for you.

What is strange about this update is that this same update was leaked a few months ago, but it has taken up until now for Verizon to finally release it. What was the hold up Big Red?

Anyways this update should fix all of the bugs that trouble D3 users, that can be fixed. This WON’T fix you not having 4g or a quad-core processor but here is the changelog is a very nice Verizon doc:
