Droid RAZR Receives Another ICS Leak
If you have a Droid RAZR or a RAZR MAXX, then you’ve recently been updated to Ice Cream Sandwich, containing a system version number of 6.16.211.Well, since then there have been two more stock ICS update leaks pulled by a developer from Motorola’s servers. These updates, although seemingly small, may be something to look at.
This new leak that is making its rounds on the Internet has a system version number, dubbed 6.16.215. At first, you may think that, since the system version number has barely changed, than this update probably isn’t anything special — well, you’d be wrong. Here’s an unofficial list of what’s changed:
- LTE Radio updated
- Updated Kernel
- “Connectivity” changes
- Added Google Chrome browser
Galaxy Nexus owners can attest to how important radio and kernel changes are.
One important thing I should mention about this update is that, you MUST be on stock .211 in order to update to .215 and that includes having no frozen apps. If you missed the updated fastboot file that leaked last week to RSD down to stock ICS, it will be listed below.
