Dual Core QWERTY Keyboard LG Optimus Note Revealed
For all of you who enjoy a full QWERTY keyboard, LG has just released a bit of info in South Korea on their new LG Optimus Note Android device. Not only will this Android device have a full QWERTY keyboard, but it’ll be one of the first dual-core Android devices available on the market.
According to first reports, the LG Optimus Note will have similar technology to the LG Optimus Black by means of a 4-inch 800×480 Nova LCD screen. The LG Optimus Note appears to be running Android 2.3.4 according to the pictures we’ve seen so far.
I’ll list a few of the features below but how about another photo of what sounds like a really great Android device that could come to the U.S. However, it’s only listed on one carrier at the moment, and that is one only in South Korea. That doesn’t mean the U.S. will get this phone, but it doesn’t mean the U.S. won’t get it either.
Now for the features of the LG Optimus Note:
1.2GHz Dual-Core Tegra 2 processor
Nova LCD Display (700nit) with 800 x 480 pixel WVGA resolution
HDMI support through what’s likely a microHDMI port
Full QWERTY keyboard
Front facing camera
5MP back camera
1GB internal RAM
Android 2.3.4
Bluetooth 3.0
If indeed this device does make it to the U.S., it’s likely to big a big seller mainly due to its dual-core processor. The big surprise is the relatively low-end camera that is only 5MP. That might be a big turn off for many users who are big into photography with their devices. Not that 5MP isn’t any good, it just seems that with the power of the processor in this phone, you’d almost expect it to have an 8MP camera which would really draw crowds to this device.
Keep checking back with us here at OMG!Droid and we will keep you updated on the latest news concerning this device. If we hear of when it’ll come to the U.S., then you’ll be one of the first to know.
