First gameplay video arrives for Gameloft’s Unreal Engine title, Wild Blood (Will this change the face of Android gaming as we know it?)

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve heard about an upcoming Gameloft title, called “Wild Blood,” which is the first title from the company to be built using the Unreal Engine 3 — some of you may already be familiar with UE3 from Infinity Blade on iOS. Last time we heard about WB, a teaser video hit the Internet that instantly sparked my interest.
Now, we’ve just laid eyes on the first gameplay video and let me tell you, it’s nothing short of impressive. From what I can tell, it looks like we’re dealing with an RPG here, chock full of intense console-quality 3D graphics and an assortment of weaponry that could make even the nerdiest of WOW players blush. Wild Blood, if done correctly (and so far it looks like it has been), might just be exactly the kind of spark the Android gaming industry needs.
Have a look at the 50-second clip below, and be prepared to have your mind blown.
We’re still not 100% sure as to when the game is scheduled for release, or whether it will be a paid or freemium model, but we’re definitely looking forward to it with eager thumbs. Whatever the case is, I hope Gameloft takes it easy on my wallet.
Readers, whaddaya think? Are you drooling with anticipation for Wild Blood? I think I am.
