Foursquare for Android updated with new check-in screen and performance tweaks

The Foursquare app for Android was updated earlier today to build number 2012.10.23. In the latest version, there is a new check-in screen that makes it easier to mention your Foursquare friends in your check-ins, and there are also toggles to the right of the text box that lets you choose whether to share your check-ins on Facebook and/or Twitter. There isn’t much else listed in the changelog, other than the usual design tweaks and performance updates, but this is still an update you’ll want to grab if you’re an active member of the service and rocking an Android device.
