Howdy OMGDroid! community, it is good to be back to contributing to this fabulous site, and before I start let me say thanks to Tony Simons who invited me back here. Thank you Tony for the opportunity once again! I will continue where I had left off,  I was about to talk a little bit about High School.

High School for me was one of those defining moments in my life, time spent there that helped a great deal to shape me to become who I am today. However,  there are times when I wished I could relive my high school years but make different choices and do different things. Obviously that’s impossible, but fortunately I can do that virtually through Surviving High School for Android brought to you by Electronic Arts.  Surviving High School is a simulator game that allows you to make the kind of decisions that you would make as a high school student. You have to balance dating, sports, studies, and hanging out with your buddies, and the game makes those decision makings  just as challenging as the real thing.

When you first start the game, you’re presented with the choice to take up the role of a male or a female high schooler. Once you start the game, the choices you make in the beginning of the game will influence the course of your high school career throughout the game. Choices such as flirting with the hot girl that welcome you to the school, make friends or enemies with the whole football club will greatly influence your life in the game. The characters in the game are surprisingly realistic, and behave a lot like the real thing.

After school, you do have choices to do things such as working out which improves your game if you decide to try out for the football team as a quarterback. Studying boosts your GPA which helps you earn the car that your father promises you if you can score a minimum of 3.0 GPA at the end of the semester. Watching TV boosts your social status which improves your popularity that will help you to be chosen as King in the homecoming dance.

This game features mini games that include quizzes in class, football practices / matches, and more.

If you don’t mind reading quite a number of dialogues in the game, Surviving High School is quite realistic and lots of fun, even the dialogues are humorous, and I don’t find it boring or out of place. This game is sure a fun way to relive those glorious years virtually.
