Google+ Hangouts on Air Rolling Out to All Users in the Coming Weeks

hangouts on air

Well, kids. I sure hope you’re ready for OMG!Droid TV because it’s coming soon to a monitor near you. Today, Google took to its official blog to let the world know that a much-anticipated feature is starting to roll out for all users in the form of Google+ Hangouts on Air. Once the update hits your account, it will only take a matter of seconds to start broadcasting and recording a Hangout for the entire world to see.

Unfortunately, we’re still waiting on the feature to hit our desktops, but we have a ton of awesome ideas for using it once it does. We’d like to use it to interview important people from the community and discuss burning issues in the Android community. If you’re a developer, manufacturer or you just have something really cool that needs to be shared with the world, get in contact with us via the About Us page and let us know what you have in mind. We’d love to collaborate and take Hangouts to an entirely new and exciting level.

In case you missed it, I had the pleasure of joining a live broadcast a few weeks back, which was held by our good friends over at Android Enthusiasts. If you didn’t get to catch it, check it out below. It was an awesome time!

Remember, it will take some a little time before this update rolls out to everyone, but it’s definitely in the process, so keep your eyes peeled.
