Google highlights some great uses for the Nexus 7 in their newest ad

Everyone knows that the Nexus 7 is a versatile little bad boy, but what can you really do with it? Well, thanks to Google’s awesome advertisements, there are some handy little uses that you should know about.

Google recently released this cute video:.

The video shows a father and son duo-camping in the “wilderness”. Together they look up information about frogs, stream movies, use the Nexus 7 as a flashlight and read a book. In the morning when the rain comes, they play checkers together. They even use the compass and Google Earth to determine where they are.

Now, this video (while being adorable) also shows you how useful your Nexus 7 really is. While it is only WiFi only, that doesn’t stop you from watching movies and reading, or wirelessly tethering your phone.

Not only can your Nexus 7 be used for entertainment purposes, but it can also be used to show someone you really love them. In a video that has been seen on the web, a man (a Google employee, actually) proposes to his girlfriend through a “pre-loaded” video on her brand new Nexus 7. I’m going to pause here to say “awww how cute”. Now, this video is not an official Google advertisement, but it’s so darn cute that it might as well be.
