Waiting for the Google Music Store to hit your device? We have a fix
Are you still waiting for the Google Music Store to hit your Android device? Have no fear, as I’ve got a tip that should get you rockin’ in no time. Most of you are already aware of the goodness Google bestowed upon us at “These Go To Eleven,” and have been anxiously “f5′ing” your Android Market, waiting to catch a glimpse of the newly added “Music” tab. We slowly began hearing reports of the update rolling out to users across the country, but still sat with the chirping crickets with nothing. Finally, an idea popped in my head. I’m quite surprised I didn’t think of it earlier, but I’m glad I finally did — it worked like a charm on both my phone and tablet, as well as a few of my co-worker’s phones at my night-time gig.
All you have to do is hit up your settings > manage applications >click the “All” tab at the top of the screen. Now you’ll want to scroll down til you get to your Android Market app and click on it. Once inside, clear your data and cache and you should be good to go. Now access your Market again and enjoy! Make sure to check out the free songs, as well. There’s a bunch of good stuff in their for the taking. After the break, I’ve thrown in a few screenshots for your viewing please.
Google Music Store Screens
While some say the service doesn’t bring anything new to the table, I beg to differ. I’m a firm believer that Google Music will have a tremendous impact on the recording industry, as well as put some much deserved cash in the pockets of the artist. To get started, all you have to do is click HERE and sign up for the free service.
As a friendly reminder, if you haven’t already registered for the two contests we have running, make sure to do so soon! Here are the links to them both:
