Rumor : Google readying 3G version of Nexus 7 !?
Unless you’ve been living under a rock since the past few months, you know about Google‘s amazing Nexus Tablet, the Nexus 7. The hugely popular Nexus 7 received positive reviews all round but the lack of 3G connectivity left a hole in everyone’s heart, looks like that’s about to change soon.
According to Paul O’Brien from MoDaCo, Google and ASUS are readying a 3G version of everyone’s new favorite tablet. The 3G version of the tablet might see the light of day in as early as 6 weeks, that translates to – sometime around mid-October.
The 3G version of the tablet is most likely have the same internals as the current version of the tablet, except for the 3G radio (obviously). Sure, the 3G version won’t be priced at $200 dollars but people won’t mind shelling out a few extra bucks for 3G connectivity.
Nothing has officially been confirmed yet, but you can count on us to keep you posted as soon as some other details emerge.
