Google updates GMail for the Nexus 7

unnamed 17

Well damn, Google is really trying to increase your productivity today; first by updating your ‘Wallet’, and now by updating your business communications. That’s right Google has just now updated the GMail app for Android — in hopes that it will be better for your Nexus 7 and force you off of the Kindle Fire.

What’s in this version:

Android 4.0 (ICS) and up:
- Improved 7″ support:
- Bug fixes and performance improvements

Android 2.2 and up:
- New Labels API for 3rd-party app developers
- Performance improvements

We don’t exactly know whether roaches or crickets were squashed, but some bugs that were there before are not anymore, which has made the app faster than ever before. It’s great to see that Google plans to change GMail usability all at once, isn’t it?

Check the link HERE to get the update from the play store.

Enjoy!
