HTC One S from T-Mobile will be all up in your grill on April 25th

Well, I still haven’t made up my damn mind as to whether or not this will be my next phone or not, but if you’ve been waiting for a confirmed date for the arrival of the HTC One S on T-Mobile, wait no longer. The device is scheduled for availability on April 25th — a little over two weeks from now.

I’m not sold on the device because I’m not sold on the specs. We’ve got a 1.5GHz dual-core (not quad) processor, a 4.3″ qHD Super AMOLED screen and will be Magenta’s first phone to launch with Andoid 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, out of the box. It will also have an 8MP camera with a front-facing cam for video chatting, as well as Beats Audio integration. While most of that sounds nice, I already have an HTC Amaze 4G, so it wouldn’t be much of an upgrade for me. I was also really hoping to see a shiny quad-core device come our way, but I guess T-Mobile decided to take a shit on that plan.

Regardless, I’m sure this phone will still sell good numbers. Rightfully so. It looks to be a pretty solid device. What do you think? Pickin’ one of these bad boys up or holding off for something a bit more powerful?

I’m hoping like hell to upgrade to this device from my old ass HTC MyTouch 4G!!!!

Been waiting on T-Mobile to release it’s first native ICS device.

I was really hoping for quad-core. I am probably going to wait for the SGSIII.
