HTC Refuses To Tarnish Its Image, No Low End Phones

htc generic logoHTC CEO Peter Chou in order to protect the company brand image has a desire to not produce low end phones just to increase shipments.

With devices like the One X and EVO 4G LTE making waves, why follow up with something that will let your fans down, or be scoffed at by other manufacturers.

Here in the States, HTC was once the most popular name in handsets other then that fruity company. Pushed to the side by the rise in popularity of Samsung devices, HTC has had to pass the torch.

With Huawei and ZTE creeping on a come up with feature packed devices on the lower end of the price spectrum, HTC is not trying to loose more ground in countries abroad.

The HTC One V, considered to be a low end phone in the US is considered mid-high range in other countries could be a determining factor in what we can expect to see as the bar HTC will try not to drop below. But after the One S and Evo 4G LTE…I dont think there will be to many disappointments.

Involved with Android since the Cupcake days, Taji (B.K.A. Screw Muggz in G+ circles) is a developer and Android obsessed fanatic. If not somewhere deep in code or flashing a new ROM, he likes to shame owners of lesser devices for their poor choice of purchase. Highly elusive, but you can catch him on Google+ or track his latest known movements on Twitter.
