Ice Cream Sandwich Leak Drops for the Motorola ATRIX 2?

If you own a Motorola ATRIX 2, now would be a good time to check your device settings, or more specifically the ‘About Phone’ menu, as we’re hearing reports that an update to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) has landed on at least a few handsets out there in the community.
It doesn’t appear that the update is available for all A2′s just yet, but it has definitely been obtained by some and is in the process of being dissected over in the XDA-Developers Forums. Of course, we don’t suggest flashing this to your device just yet, as there’s no telling what might happen. You could lose root access, or even worse, potentially end up with a shiny new brick that used to be a functioning Android phone.
On the other hand, I know how anxious all of you must be to get a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich, so feel free to stop by leifemagnuson‘s original thread if you’d like to join in the discussion or keep tabs on the project. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out and update you as we learn more on this.
