HTC EVO 4G, Motorola Defy get ICS Ports

Two more devices have received Ice Cream Sandwich ports. The HTC Evo 4G and Motorola Defy have been officially added to the list of phones to receive some Android 4.0 lovin’ from Epsylon3 over at the XDA Forums.

The port for the Evo is currently in its second alpha build, with WiFi and cellular data still broken, though the developer has promised that all radios would be fixed in the upcoming third alpha release. The Defy still has a way to go yet, as the WiFi is working, but the phone and camera are still borked. At any rate, those of you who own either of these two devices should be glad to know that you’re in good hands.

I’d imagine these bugs will all get smashed in no time, and you’ll be downloading and flashing ICS, looking back at these days of anticipation with laughter. Until then, stay tuned. We’ll let you know as these projects become more stable and ready for public consumption. Happy Saturday!

what about the Droid Bionic? are we getting some ICS love sometime soon, or NOT? Droid Bionic is one of the best Android out there that is not getting some ICS love so far :( (

Ramon, I’m sure the Bionic will see ICS, it’s just a matter of when. I’d assume it can’t be too far off. I’ll make sure to post if I hear anything.
