IMDb Movies & TV for Android gets Updated with Sharing, Recommendations and More

The IMDb Movies & TV application for Android got an update yesterday to version 2.7.2 in the Google Play Store. Now, users can check in and share what they are watching on Facebook, get recommendations to discover other interesting titles, and join in on the discussion on the site’s official message boards. You can also look up filming locations and soundtracks, get similar title suggestions, and access the “Metacritic” feature for the IMDb user rating of a title as well as how the film critics scored it.
If you’ve never used this app, it’s well worth the 3.73MB download. It doesn’t cost a thing, and could even end up scoring you some cash the next time you find yourself in one of those situations at the bar when somebody drops that movie trivia quiz bet that nobody else has the answer to.

Oh, and if you’re rocking a Galaxy S III, like I am, you’ll be glad to hear that a bug has been addressed, which caused a crash for some folks using the app.
Already have the app installed? Head on over to the Play Store and do your thing. If you’re a first-timer, hit up the link below and try it out. Be sure to stop back and let us know what you think of the app and its new features.
