Instagram for Android gets Photo Maps, revamped user profiles and more, with version 3.0.4 update

Instagram, the photo sharing service we’ve loved to hate since it was acquired by Marky Mark Zuckerburg and the Facebook bunch in April, got a small, yet notable update today on the Google Play Store.
The latest version is labeled 3.0.4 and introduces a fun, new way of browsing photos on a map, called — yep, you guessed it — Photo Maps. User profiles also got a touch-up, as did a number of areas of the Instagram app.
Last, but not least, it’s now easier to write longer captions when sharing our photos.

The new version weighs in at 13MB, but if you’ve got the latest Google Play Store APK installed, you’ll only have to download about 3MB, thanks to the new update that allows incremental delta updates.
Like I said, nothing too ground-breaking here, but still worth spreading the news to our readers. Head on over to the Google Play Store on your phone to get your update, or use the link provided below if you don’t already have it installed.
