Instagram Selling Its Soul

What’s this? Instagram in the news again? Damn, what now?

Well this story isn’t about Instagram FINALLY making it’s way to Android, or it’s record breaking downloads, or even it iPhone users complaints about the Android users. No, this is about Facebook, with well known “creator” Mark Zuckerburg, paying 1 BILLION DOLLARS for the social network. Yes Zuckerburg let loose today that his social network will be buying Instagram and adding it to his monopoly-like network.

“We think the fact that Instagram is connected to other services beyond Facebook is an important part of the experience. We plan on keeping features like the ability to post to other social networks, the ability to not share your Instagrams on Facebook if you want, and the ability to have followers and follow people separately from your friends on Facebook.”
