Instapaper for Android Officially Released!

unnamed 12

Today is an exciting day to be an Android user. It looks like Instapaper was officially released for Android phones and tablets that are running 2.1 and up. Originally, Instapaper was an iOS exclusive app, but with all the bustle surrounding Android these days, it seems that it was a necessary crossover.

Instapaper is an app that allows you to read more efficiently on a smaller screen. You can also save stuff for later reading. According to the Google Play Store App description, Instapaper also:

- Saves most web pages as text only, stripping away the full-sized layout to optimize for tablet and phone screens
- Distraction-free reading environment gets out of your way so you can focus on the content
- Everything you download is then available **OFFLINE**, so you can read whenever you want, even on airplanes, subways, or Wi-Fi-only devices away from internet connections

You can get Instapaper off of the Amazon App Store and off of the Google Play Store. It’s $2.99, but I’ve heard that it’s worth it.
