Is Motorola prepping the DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD for an October release?

Motorola fans will be interested to learn that the company is supposedly planning to release the DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX in the near future. While info on the two devices is scarce at the moment, there is already talk about the batteries that will come in tow — a 2,530mAh battery in the RAZR HD and a whopping 3,300 mAh battery in the RAZR MAXX HD.

Word also has it that the two phones will come running Android 4.0.4, which really isn’t a surprise at all — anything less would be uncivilized at this point. As for processors, it might be safe to expect the two to house a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 chipset, as that seems to be almost the standard for most new phones these days. Of course there are other options, but this is the one we’ve heard the most chatter about, so we’ll stick with it for now.

Again, rumor has October as the time frame you’ll want to keep available on your calendar if you’re eyeing either one of these babies up. We’ll be sure to let you know an exact date, as soon as we know one ourselves.

Until then, what do you think, Verizon heads? Will you be picking up the DROID RAZR HD or RAZR MAXX HD when the hit the streets?
