Judges Denies Apples Injunction to Ban Samsung Galaxy S III Sales in the US

If only Steve Jobs could read this headline, he’d probably be doing backflips in his grave. Earlier this week, U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh in San Jose, California 86′d any hope and dreams Apple had of potentially blocking the Samsung Galaxy S III from being sold in the good ol’ US of A.
According to Reuters, Judge Koh denied the request for a court order blocking the June 21 launch because it would “overload her calendar, given Apple’s high-stakes trial over other Samsung devices set for July that she is overseeing.”
It sounds to me like she’s pretty much saying, “Look, Apple. Enough is enough. You’re going a bit overboard with all of this, don’t you think?”
At any rate, the entire OMG!Droid camp, as well as the rest of the United States can now breathe a collective sigh of relief. While, this definitely doesn’t mean the war is over, we can certainly strike one up for Samsung in this specific instance.
And, for those of you impatiently watching the calendar for June 21st, like me, you can rest assured that the Galaxy S III will still be launching as planned.
How ’bout them Apples? Yes. All pun intended.
