Kangerator! Is It In You?

I don’t know about everyone else but I’m a big fan of AOKP. For those that have never heard of AOKP here is a little run down for you–AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for many Android devices. The name is a play on the word “kang” and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.

Now that we have gotten all that out of the way, have you heard of a guy that goes by the name of AdamTheCashew. Who is AdamTheCashew? He is only one of the coolest guys on the planet and the creator of my new favorite app called Kangerator. Also known to his mother as Adam Fisch.

I bet you want to know what Kangerator is and does? This little app always knows what is up to date on official AOKP releases! Sure there are other apps out there that let you see know and see it your favorite rom is ready for update. But is it strictly made for AOKP? No, it’s not so there lol. It even lets you read the change logs in this app when they are posted on aokp.co!

I’ll say it again… it lets you read the change logs when they are posted! Nothing drives me crazier then reading through forums and having post after post of people asking what has changed? Who knows what has changed? Now you have an app that tells you so quite asking, dang! That’s not all folks! This thing does it all for you. No more using multiple apps or trying to find a computer at work to download AOKP without your boss getting mad. You can choose between AndroTransfer and goo.im to download from. I use both of those everyday so that’s awesome. Internal file downloader for AndroTransfer (must be unlocked) It also has an auto update checker (Manual, Daily, On Boot, Open App) Who doesn’t enjoy choices such as those. So cool! Now you will notice that there are ads, but you can disable them from the settings. Adam doesn’t see a single penny of the money that comes from the ads as they go straight to the AOKP server and build box. Adam Fisch is a giver and I suggest we all become givers as well. So leave the Ads checked and support your favorite developer. It’s just the right thing to do.
