Kindle Fire, Nook Tablet, HP Touchpad now recognized on Android Market Website

android market devices update

Your Kindle Fire, Nook Tablet, or HP Touchpad will now show up on the Android Market Website

The Android Market Website has received a minor update that will now allow devices that didn’t ship with the Android Market app to be recognized on the site. Basically, for those of you who own a Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet, Amazon Kindle Fire, or HP Touchpad and have side-loaded an unofficial version of the Android Market, your device will now display in the list. This means you can easily log into the site from any browser and send any app you’d like to download directly to your device without ever having to touch it.

If you’d like to try for yourself, head on over to the Android Market site. Find an app you’d like to install and your device should now be available for choice. Pretty simple, yet awfully convenient, eh? I thought so too. Happy downloading!
