LG announces Optimus LTE for Korean market
LG lifted the lid earlier today on the LG Optimus LTE, which will be first released in South Korea, pegged as the first HD 4G smartphone for the Korean market. The Optimus LTE will come packed with a 4.5″ “True HD IPS” display at a beautiful 1280×720 screen resolution (yes, that’s 720p), a rather strange 20GB of storage, 1GB of RAM, and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. That’s not enough for you? How does 8MP rear facing and 1.3MP front facing cameras, an 1,830 mAh battery and Gingerbread (2.3) on board sound to you?
Unfortunately, there’s currently no word on if and/or when the Optimus LTE will be making it’s way to the U.S., but we can certainly hold our breathe for as long as possible. There’s no word yet on availability in Korea, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted. Hit the break for the full presser.
