LG To Focus On Smartphones Rather Than Tablets

Looks like LG has taken a turn…for the smartphone. Rather than focusing on making tablets, and by doing so competing with Apple, LG has opted out. For the moment, they’re going to be focusing on making smartphones.

LG most likely saw that they needed to focus on just one thing. Currently, they’re rated number 4 in smartphone manufacturing, so they decided to focus on raising that number. Apparently, LG  just didn’t feel like competing with Apple. So, when they realized they were fighting a losing battle, they decided to just quit the tablet game for now.

But hey, what this means for the Android world is that we’ll have one less tablet manufacturer, and hopefully some awesome new phones coming from LG. Let’s look at this as a good thing for now.
