Motorola Photon 4G updated, now featuring lapdock support and Google Talk video chat
Here’s a bit of news that should be sure to start the weekend off right for Motorola Photon 4g owners! Thanks to a tip from Dustin, we’ve heard that the device has received an update. The bump, Version.4.5.1A-1_SUN-198_6 45.3.6.MB855.Sprint.en.US, has some really nice new features that you’ll be delighted to hear about. Among them are:
- Support for Google Talk with Video Chat
- Addition of Lapdock accessory support, featuring Motorola’s exclusive webtop application
- Forwarded messages are properly identified as forwarded once complete
- Improved audio quality with car speakers when connected to a car charger and audio
- Enhancements to image appearance when pictures are taken in the camera Panorama Mode
- Introduction of international roaming 3G UTMS hotspot functionality for a single Wi-Fi enabled device
If you’re impatient like me and don’t want to wait for the OTA, you can get your paws on this update by going to settings > about phone > system updates. If you’ve already gotten your groove on, let us know how much your loving (hopefully not hating) it.
