New Google Wallet in the works, Sign up now!!

If you check the Google Wallet website today (for whatever reason) then you should have noticed a new tag in their header. Yep as pointed out above, “The next version of Google Wallet is coming. Request an invite.” I’ll wait right here while you go do that.

After you click the link, it takes you to a sign in page for your Gmail account, then after that it ask you what type of device you have. That should shock you right there, as it seems the Wallet  team is working on adding Google Wallet to other devices. You can choose between Android, iOS *shudder* and “other” (which, the icon, looks like blackberry, but they’re dead so I’d put my money on Windows).

Other than that we really don’t know what’s going on with the Wallet team, but we expect something soon. Sometime this week, but definitely by the big Playground event. We shall keep you updated as soon as we know more.
