Here we are again with another spoiler alert for Monday’s upcoming “The Playground is Open” event in New York City. Remember that Samsung Nexus 10 tablet we told you about? Well feast your eyes upon it in all its glory in this gallery just posted by the fine folks from BriefMobile.

First, let’s take a look at the specs, shall we?

  • Samsung Exynos 5250
  • Clocked at 1.7 GHz
  • Dual-core Cortex-A15
  • Mali-T604 GPU
  • 2GB RAM
  • 16GB internal storage (other options possible)
  • 10.1-inch Super AMOLED display
  • 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution
  • 298.9 pixels-per-inch
  • 5-megapixel rear-facing camera
  • LED flash
  • Front-facing camera
  • NFC
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • Dual speakers located on front of device

Anyone else surprised that there’s no quad-core here? Aside from the lack of that, the Nexus 10 still looks like it’s going to be a pretty solid offering.

It will also be the world’s first tablet to run Android 4.2 out of the box (of course the Nexus 7 won’t be far behind), which — despite rumors that it’d be called Key Lime Pie – is still Jelly Bean, but does bring a few awesome new features, like multi-user support, a Quick Settings menu for toggling off WiFi or switching between users, new camera software, and other minor visual tweaks.

Now, enough blabber and let’s get to what you really came to see, pictures of both the Nexus 10 and Android 4.2!

We still don’t have a solid pricing point for the tablet, or a launch date, but you can bet your bottom dollar all will be revealed on the 29th. Until then, what do you think? Is the Nexus 10 all you hoped it would be?

Hello dear article writer, are you living under a rock?
A dual core A15 based processor completely obliterates any quad core processor based on the A9 architecture. ..

There is a quad-core processor based on A15. It’s in the Optimus G.

      • rj5555

A Krait is close but not A15

Yeah, I forgot. Too late to edit now.

Hes right even destroys the s4 pro quad core. This ‘dual’ is more powerful than any quad core out there.

    Whoa! Someone’s mad, lol.

The design of the Nexus 7 is nice, I don’t know what happened with this.
