Nexus 7 Shipping Sooner Than We First Reported According To Staples

I know everyone out there, including me, is itching for the Nexus 7 to hurry up and ship and hit our front door steps. As previously reported by myself, the Nexus 7 was reportedly going to be shipping on July 19th. Well, the bad news is, that has changed. Ok, ok, you got me since you read the title! The good news is, it appears the Nexus 7 will be shipping sooner. In fact, possibly an entire week sooner! Yayyy!!

As you can see by the image above, if you pre-order the tablet via Staples, it will ship between the dates of July 12th and July 17th and they say you will have the device no earlier than July 13th. For yours to ship between those dates, you must pre-order yours from them no later than July 10th(next Tuesday).

So it’s probably pretty damn safe to say that those of us who pre-ordered ours the day it was announced at Google I/O will hopefully be seeing a nice little package on our doorsteps around July 14th or so. Might be a few days later of course, but hopefully we’ll start hearing reports from people that they are receiving them on that date.

All I can say is HURRY UP!!! I’m so excited to get my hands on this tablet. It’s going to be my first tablet and there are actually 2 of them coming to my house. One for my dad, and of course one for myself. Let us know if you’ve pre-ordered one and if you have any further confirmed updates to when these mean little monsters will be shipping out to everyone.
