Official Ice Cream Sandwich leak surfaces for the HTC Evo 3D

Well, HTC Evo 3D owners, it looks like your time to stand up and get your taste of Ice Cream Sandwich has finally arrived! A leaked build of Android 4.0.3 with Sense 3.6 has leaked out for public consumption thanks to Team Virtuous from RootzWiki, who managed to get there hands on a leaked Virgin Mobile build — who would’ve thought, right? My sentiments exactly!
As our friends over at Phone Arena have pointed out, the installation process isn’t all that complicated, so you won’t have to pull out all of your hair trying to get this one to load, especially if you’re rocking H-Boot 1.4; however, you will be required to upgrade your firmware before you can flash the ROM.

As is the case with most devices, this is only the beginning of the fun. Within a few days, developers will have had a chance to tear this update apart and we should see a flurry of custom ROMs coming for the Evo 3D. If you absolutely can’t wait (I don’t blame you), head over to the original thread on Rootz for all the details you’ll need to get started, as well as discussion concerning any possible bugs that have been spotted thus far.
Evo 3D users, we salute you. Now, get your ass over there and get to flashing. Make us proud, damnit!
