Official LG Spectrum 2 pictures and specs leaked online

Remember back in August, when I brought up the possibility of a successor to LG and Verizon’s Spectrum, the Spectrum 2? Well now it seems all thoughts and rumors about that device should now be confirmed and thwarted. We can give thanks to Best Buy for this leak, as they have a product page on their website up, unfortunately the item is “sold out”.

For the specs that were confirmed, I’ll list them below:

• 4.7″ 1280×720 display
• 1GB RAM
• 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor
• microSD card slot
• 8MP rear shooter, 1.3MP front camera
• 5 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ x 3/8″, 5.2oz.
• Android 4.0
• Off contract price- 649.99$

Honestly for me this phone looks like LG’s Vu/Intuition except in proper 16:9 aspect ratio — not a weird-ass square, but normal phone rectangular shape. Also, the specs aren’t bare minimum but are definitely not the elitist in today’s phone society.

Does anybody think they will be picking this up instead of the Note 2 or LG Nexus, whenever Verizon finally decides to announce it? I most likely won’t, just personal preference.
